2024 EVENT REGISTRATIONS NOW OPEN 〰️
Every September, besea.n invites you to enjoy a month-long, collaborative programme of events, dedicated to East and South East Asian heritage, culture, history and everything in between. It’s a chance to celebrate, acknowledge and learn about the incredible ways in which our communities have helped shape the UK.
changing seasons: 2024 theme
Embracing the theme of Changing Seasons, this year's ESEA Heritage Month offers a reflection on the cyclical nature of life. Just as the seasons transition, so too do our experiences, cultures, and identities within the ESEA communities and beyond. From the tangible shifts in weather to the evolving cultural zeitgeist, this theme encapsulates our collective journey towards new beginnings and growth.
We extend a warm invitation to all to join us in celebrating, observing, and exploring our theme, Changing Seasons. Whether through the lens of seasonal cuisines, developing trends, discussions on evolving identities, the great outdoors or reflections on our political landscape, we look forward to commemorating this year’s ESEA Heritage Month with you.
Stay tuned FOR THE FULL EVENTS CALENDAR.

EVENT REGISTRATIONS FOR 2024 NOW OPEN
Interested in putting on an event? Registration is now open!
Whether you’re an individual or an organisation, your event is online or in person, free or ticketed, we want to hear from anyone interested in celebrating and spotlighting East and South East Asian heritage and communities in the UK. We’ve seen supper clubs, walking tours, life drawing and football matches!
The programme will be published in mid-July, so make sure you get your event submitted before then to be included in the initial promotions. If your event isn’t quite ready, don’t worry you can still submit your event later on and we will update the calendar at least once a week.
We strongly encourage organisations and individuals based outside London to register - we’re on a mission to make ESEA Heritage Month accessible all over the country, and we’re here to help in any way we can!
